Unsurprisingly reality is somewhat different to your interpretation.  Keshi was signed by Flitcroft, who according to you and others on here was clueless. Presumably Keshi wasn't too worried about style but just wanted to play.  This will very much be the case if we get back to something we recognise as lower league football... players will be happy to have some sort of professional contract.
Think you need to listen to what he, and many others, have actually said. In reality.

Didn't listen to the pod did you Reg
Cheesy

This was before Flitcroft was even here i think
It was, Anderson complimenting our style under Williams before he joined us, so hadn't actually seen us play under Flipflop it would seem.

Never let facts get in the way of a good argument.

Reading this made me look up the wiki on Keshi Stuart Oluyinka Adetokunboh Anderson

He has had a funny old career until he got here, prolific in non league, gets a hatrick in a BCD game for Brentford on trial against Palace which leads Palace to sign him, loaned to Donny and has a bloody good run but breaks leg and then loaned to Bolton recalled and loaned to the Cobblers.

Just out of interest, why does your post include what Wikipedia says is his full name?

Paul has literally repeated what Keshi said, where he clearly stating his reasons for signing.

That’s not an interpretation

Quote
Interested to hear him say he wanted to come to Swindon initially on loan because of the way we played football. That's been a recurring theme with the loanees or players who've moved here, that whatever we think as fans, as players they enjoy playing the style of football we played under Cooper, Williams and now Wellens. Obviously I think we all prefer the Wellensball incarnation, but it's got to be a positive as we look to attract or keep players post-COVID that we are seen as being a good club to play for from a football perspective.

This bit is an interpretation

However you want to dress it,  Keshi was signed initially on loan by Flitcroft and was presumably happy enough with the style of play to sign permanently.

Thanks for the reply. Because I didn't understand why it was necessary.

Well, he did say he wasn’t that keen on the more direct style of play. Also the Tanned One was OK from a defensive point of view.

Hates playing as a winger, early days he didn’t produce consistently enough.

Thought we would have made the POs if Flitcroft had stayed. Never realised he actually played with Wellens at Donny.

But still happy to sign a permanent contract.... which comes to my latter point, players at our level, especially with the current uncertainty as to what lower league football might look like starting in 20/21, can't be to picky about styles of play etc

Listen to the pod. You may find it enlightening.

I don't know why Rich spends so much time tracking down different players.

He should just interview Reg instead. He apparently knows the player's thoughts better than the players do themselves.

I don't know why you interpret what I've said when you have me on ignore.... probably better to read it IMO.

It does seem some people need to calm down and step back from the post button.  Especially on something unimportant.  Let it go.

Rich, thanks again for all these.  Kept me massively entertained over the last 2 and a bit months of driving.
