Every fucking time. At the end of the night in whichever nightclub I ended up getting drunk in.

After promising myself after the last time, and the time before that, and so on, that I would never catch myself singing it again.

Dancing to that one would mean you'd pulled, though. So not all bad.

It was usually Im Not In Love OR silver lining. Not both, even if they were both played.

If you pulled, you were dancing with your new crumpet to I'm in love. If you pulled, you WOULD NOT be singing silver lining, lest your new crumpet fucks off.

Silver lining was for the sad, single people that couldn't pull. Like me, most of the time  Crying.

"If you leave me now" by Chicago was one that I saw as an invitation to touch some bottom. With the benefit of hindsight, what I saw as an invitation was closer to assault. Different times is my excuse, but it's a crap one.

That's how it was in the early 80s at the Brunel rooms!

Should have kept away from the Brunel Rooms then.

That's how it was in the early 80s at the Brunel rooms!

Not only the Brunel. I was sexually assaulted by the gorgeous bird while I was queuing for drinks in Yates’s. Unzipped my strides and had her hands round my Crown Jewels while whispering (ok shouting) in my ear to get her and a mate some drinks.....I kid you not.
