I also went to the 4-0 win - my only memory of the game (apart from the score and that we dominated them) is of Stan Harland scoring the 4th goal (memorable as he didn’t score many) with a shot from outside the penalty area at the Stratton Bank end.
We had a very good side at that time, but with hindsight, some of the Italian teams may not have been quite at full strength as 1970 was of course a World Cup year - Italy being beaten finalists in Mexico.
Do either of you old fuckers remember if there were any away fans? Or maybe ex-pat Italians supporting Juventus?

Double J - Julian Joachim, Leicester City player. Got some dreadful stick from Town fans after seeing him in the car park at Wembley after the play off final. Graciously accepting!

I remember someone having a letter printed in either the Radio Times or TV Times in the weeks after the match complaining about the booing of black players at the match heard on the TV. I think Joachim was the only player in the game who might identify as black?
He had a shit game which probably prompted any booing, plus he is a total knob. He got a very lucky goal.

*update: I guess it was TV Times as Jimmy "Gert Lush" Greaves said at half-time what a boring match he thought it was. He was ITV, yeah?

The late Andy King - manager at one of the most difficult times in the Club’s history.
I thought he took a lot of unfair criticism given the issues off the field.

The mix of opinions of the players on Rich's podcasts are quite fun, but I think history has been fairly kind to Kingy.

Basically all of you lot calling him for him to be fired were wrong and deserve horrible things.
