Anfield, brilliant goal by John Moncur. He was involved at the beginning, middle and end of the move and a goal worthy of the stage it was scored on.

What a game that was.  Heart-breaking when the equaliser went in, but I'll never forget the Liverpool fans afterwards as we were walking away...slapping us on the back & wishing us all the best for the rest of the season.

Harry Agombar. How we didnt win the league with him in the squad was beyond me

He’s somehow shagging Wayne Lineker’s daughter. She’s not bad at all!!

Alessandro Cibocchi
Oh, I want to dance with Cibocchi, I want to feel the heat with Cibocchi... Loved that away at Hereford whenever that was.

It was amusing to see a professional footballer that didn't know how to take a throw in.

"Animal" - Brian Williams. Great player in that late 70's team.
I remember him scoring v Portsmouth and celebrating in front of their fans (who had presumably been giving him stick), and hearing someone behind me say "I'm not having that, I'm going to phone the club tomorrow to complain" (I doubt if he did!) But a great player who always gave 100%

Alessandro Cibocchi

Quite agree in the sense he became somewhat of a cult legend in such a short space of time. Was always very endearing towards the fans. Can still remember singing "Dance with Cibocchi".

Not the best player but that man had tons of effort. I even remember after he left, he still used to talk about wanting to wear the shirt and play for Town again. That's pretty rare in a modern footballer and he was sincere with it.

Moses Ashikodi.  I recall that a Millwall supporting friend was amused by this signing.

On to the ‘B’s

Bodin, Paul. Fantastic goal scoring FB - and God knows how many assists he must have made. And that penalty. Pressure or what.
