I pay a tenner every 3 or 4 weeks. Might start doing my own. 1 or 2 back and sides 4 on top. What could go wrong?

Nothing can go wrong.  Mrs Chunkyhair does mine, 1 round back and sides, 2/3 on top. Piece of piss, never going to barbers again.

That all tends to suggest your username may be slightly misleading

Where will you get "something for the weekend"?  (Obscure social history reference, lost on the less than ancient)

I am not sure that this should be regarded as an obscure reference.

£35 for hair and beard, every 3-4 weeks for me. I think that's about mid-range. It's 45-60 mins of someone's time and there's no chance I'd expect someone to do that for much less when you consider costs too.

No 1 all over as temporary measure right now.

Beard? Haven't you got a beard trimmer, used to be great when I had a beard. Or do you have it styled?

Fiver a go about 3 or 4 times a year for maintenance of flowing locks & beard at George's in Gorse Hill.

I have but honestly, I enjoy it and it looks better when someone else does it. It's the only hour of the month I sit still and just stop everything too.

I always used to go to Stan’s up Old Town. If his missus did it you’d get the occasional tit rub.

One of our old Barber Shops called IVANS used to sell Dildos and Vibrators. Handwritten sign in the window;

"12 Inch Black Mamba"

A very, very true story.
