Been over 3 years since I had anything cut off the length, so think I can survive lockdown without a hair cut

All these shaven heads, and probably the reason why we find it so intimidating visiting the County Ground !

Good to see Vyvyan Bastard on here, he loves his lower league footy. Once he sat in front of me at Gillingham's open rickety away end, a winter mid-weeker and hammering it down it was. The stewards recognised him and asked if he'd like to move to a seat under cover. "Only if they can all come with me" he said. Alan Gow then scored with a screamer and he jumped around like the lunatic we all know and love !

I do think people are slightly over reacting.  It is potentially only 3 weeks without a haircut.  Maybe when it get to 6 weeks I'll start worrying.  Even then I'll just tie my lustrous locks back and pretend Im 18 again.

Hate to be a Debbie downer mate but we're looking at least to the end of June, potentially September before anything "normal" of sorts returns.

Did you manage to get sorted btw?

Well everything seems to be being rescheduled for September the 5th.  Government seems to have come through for me at the least, with the 3 months for self employed at 80% so I should be ok.  June is a long time to wait though.  Ive got to get onto UC.

Ill just be bored out of my head but most people will be facing the same.  Ive volunteered for the NHS.  So hopefully that'll keep me going.

Appreciate you asking though mate!

Likewise, I did wonder but always nice to know someone has considered you. It's big changes for a lot of people but glad you should be alright. Personally I'm currently in discussion with a business consultant to see if it's worth me just suspending things as my situation is a little different to your own. Still had booked work cancelled but I wasn't reliant on those contracts. Had it been 6 months later, things may have been more difficult.

Going onwards my belief is, with this Socialist leaning approach, I think it will be difficult for any Government to go back to the previous way. At least not the same as it was. We've essentially become a Socialist state...under a Conservative gov to boot.

The political landscape will be a lot different from here on in. Going on just how he's handled things so far, I wouldn't mind seeing Sunak stepping up as PM once this has all settled. He does come across a lot calmer and more measured than well...the rest of them.

As Terry Pratchett said - We live in interesting times.

I’ve only got a beard trimmer. Do I risk shaving my head with that?

Aren't they just a narrower type of clipper? Try them on your back first  Smiley

They will be fine, just take twice as long as normal clippers.

I bought some clippers too, but have been too scared to use them. I managed to shave the sides but not the back, so now I have a mini mullet, which my wife keeps taking the piss of.
