Our coach went straight back to Calne, went out on the piss there. £5 return to Earl's Court  Smiley

Yeah but in 1990 you could buy a 3 bed semi in Calne for £10 Wink

Buy a few rounds of Ushers, get a pie and chips, have a decent night out and still have change from a shilling!

I must have turned around in circles a dozen times waiting for Bodin to take the penalty. Must watch/can't watch.

We were behind the goal, and I had my back to it for several mins (felt like hours) during the build up and for the penalty itself.  Just couldn't look.  There have been several occasions - important pens - since then when I've ended up doing the same thing.

That Swindon Leicester game was just brilliant, had everything.
As a 15 year old, I can still remember the heartbreak of Leicesters third goal, and also vividly remember the ping off the post of Maskell's goal.
I voted for that, obviously.

A special mention to that Gillingham v Man City game in 1999 though.
0-0 on 80 minutes, Gillingham go two up by 87 minutes, only for Man City to score two injury time goals (one by Horlock) and then win on penalties.
I imagine a lot of City fans left after Gills' second goal went in!

I was the same in 1990 after Graham Kelly demoted us

I seem to recall getting a bus from outside of Barclays Bank.  That day is all a bit of a haze now.

I was with a group of about 20 mates and I was the only one actually watching it! my mates waited to hear my screams when it went in before looking!
I was sat right on half way right next to the Leicester lot. When the third went in they piled on top of us celebrating and taking the piss with a few hidden punches. My bruv, being nuts then and now and on the big side, responded first. As we all recovered we joined him. Then the law got involved and chucked a few of theirs out. That fourth goal was sweet, real sweet!! Bumped into
some right nutters in Leicester (baby squad??) in a local pub after Forest had dicked them a year or two later. Us three got out safely after a calm and collected pint with hundreds of eyes standing at us for the duration. Happy days! Well done Bodin.

Is that a fact ?
I suppose it depends on your line of work.

Very busy at work.  Not much going on at weekends.  Complying with advice on staying at home rather than going out and about and enjoying what Somerset and Devon have to offer.

We were sat in the Town block almost on the halfway line too, about half way up the stand, directly opposite the Royal Box about 3 or 4 yards away from the Leicester fans, they were taunting us so much when it went to 3-3 but we got our own back at the end!
