I'm going for some maple glazed ribs this weekend, if the smoker hasn't blown away
Depends if you chained the wife down in the storm? has she cut the amount of fags down now?

Do you oven pre simmer the ribs in a flavoured solution then generously bast the ribs with the glaze on the BBQ. In addition to the fish which is tomorrow’s offering, I’ve just jointed two chickens to marinade for Monday. Not sure about tonight’s nosh yet.

Yes he plays down the rivalry often, he says he supports both clubs as he grew up in Swindon but has lived a long time in Oxford.

Over at the Beeb they have a feature on top play-off games, and vote for your fave. We have two entries in the ten choices. We need some votes to catch up on others. Which one should we vote for? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52737202

Swindon v Leicester, no contest for me as it had everything, great goals, a penalty, 3-0 up then 3-3 with a full house at Wembley.

Life never looked as bleak as it did when Leicester pulled it back to 3-3. And never as sweet as it was 20 mins later at FT.

Genuine roller coaster of emotions for me that day, the elation of being 3-0 up in the first half to be despair of 3-3 and thinking we had totally blown our chance inside a 12 minute spell in the 2nd half, then to win it with a penalty in the last 5 mins, perfect!

It was only 1-0 @ HT, Hoddle's goal coming just before. Maskell & Taylor then added theirs early in the 2nd half. Just looked it up, and 5 of the goals that day (Maskell, Taylor, Joachim, Walsh, Thompson) came in 23 mins. Roller-coaster indeed!

I must have turned around in circles a dozen times waiting for Bodin to take the penalty. Must watch/can't watch.

I went for Swindon v Leicester too. Any footage available of the celebrations in town that night?
Our coach was queuing for ages to get off the M4 at J15 after the game. By the time we got to The Sun Inn at Coate we jumped off & joined the party, ending up in Old Town.

I was with a group of about 20 mates and I was the only one actually watching it! my mates waited to hear my screams when it went in before looking!
