Bizarrely the bloody useful corner shop over the road from us has a sign saying that because of Coronavirus they are closing from 2nd-29th April. Don't really understand that, they seem to be doing great business currently.

Weathers been better today (despite the bloody cold wind) so resumed the family walks - vital for getting out of the four walls of our living room.

If anything like mine staff will be worried and have decided to stay at home.

Today I have been mostly in a place where none of this happening.
Where Messrs Branson, Martin and Ashley are at the head of a new breed of philanthropic altruists, where people cough only to cover up farts, where the majority of hand wringing is done under a tap and not online.
So, just landed in Nottingham. A few beers ahead of the short trip to Mansfield and a glorious 3-0 victory to follow on from the 5-0 thrashing of Walsall at the weekend. The GP scoring all 8 of them.
And yes, most not importantly, we do win the league.

Anyway, back to the mixture of worry, down in the dumps and trying to carry on.
Hope there can be some long-term positives once this is all over.
Austerity off the table for good for one, whatever the circumstances.
Most people are decent though and it shouldn’t take a crisis for people to look out for each other.

Right, enough of that bollocks.
I’m off to spy on the neighbours and grass up anyone who is lingering outdoors.

Cheers for that Bob, made me chuckle.
Forgot  that the Walsall game should have been Saturday.
Was going to that with Saga tours. Ho hum

A minor thing I noticed earlier were notices outside the park saying that because or Coronavirus all dogs were to be kept on leads. Not really sure why in a large park, but needless to say the % of dogs on leads during my 40 minute walk was 0.

I read something that said that dogs should be kept on a lead if anyone in the house has symptoms. Im right by a huge open park so mine is normally off the lead.

I feckin love a burrito. Got a fajita kit here ready to go, just need to defrost the chicken thighs and get some peppers. All mexican food is great and also a good excuse for me to put fistfulls of coriander with everything.
