Highlight of the afternoon was probably the shenanigans in the TE...a fair few made a hasty retreat when they saw the size of the plain clothed meat heads who turned up as reinforcements behind the goal!

It looks as if the club has employed the pick of the local bouncers who are on standby in a nearby location if it ever kicks off...they should probably don a hi vis though Cheesy
Loved the TE chanting you will be sacked in the morning as he was escorted out of the ground, the stadium manager going nuts at it as well.  My understanding is that the blue vests are professional bouncers with the required SIA training which a lot of our dopey stewards are not.  A tad over the top and they are always confrontational whn placed in those sort of positions.

the tall guy with grey hair that went into the crowd (peace keeping) a while after the first incident used to be a bouncer at the Rock in ciren.

What happened in the Town end for the blue vest to get involved

So is all the stuff from that Jaxbox character on Twitter nonsense then? He was making it out that Power has thugs in plain clothes that waded in and laid into Town fans?

They are the heavies I mentioned - they were plain clothed, however they certainly didn’t wade in to anyone or even enter the stand. They were just stood behind the TE goal.

Jay isn’t Power’s biggest fan so it would appear he has added his own spin to it!

His exact words:

“So power has yobs of his own to have a pop at his own fans? That’s all I can take away from that.“

He’s so far up Clem’s arse it’s embarrassing so I take anything he says with a bucket full of salt.

He was far up Power's arse until he was told he wasn't allowed free storage space on club grounds.

Easily influenced some would say. Wasn’t he responsible for all that refugees welcome bollocks as well?

in context his tweet was taken from steward comments

"Scrap in the town end over a steward grabbing a fan. And some meat heads in casual gear turn up and get involved. Talk from the stewards is “they’re the directors people”.

So power has yobs of his own to have a pop at his own fans? That’s all I can take away from that."

while I'm  sure power doesn't employ people to have a go at our own fans, it seems fair enough to question what said
'plain clothes' were we doing in the town end.

is that normal at football?

I'd kind if assumed they would have to be accredited/clearly identified. But what do I know.

OB didn't stay long when they went.

Seen it mentioned the ref was the same for the Northampton game earlier in the season... either he doubled down on being a cunt in response to the post-match after that game, or he's genuinely shit at being a ref. We didn't play well, but that useless turd wouldn't know a correct decision if it hit him in the face.

TBF he was also responsible for a pretty impressive display pre-game on Saturday, and several others in this and previous seasons. Doesn't mean he doesn't sometimes talk some bollocks on twitter but he's far from unique in that regard and worth remembering he does quite a lot of good stuff while everyone's busy listing their criticisms of him.
