what happened then? it looked to one of our group as if the TE were throwing the ball around, a fan has gone to pick it up and beardy has tried to aggressively punch it out his hands, missed and cloked the fan?

Why don't we seem to have the balls for derbies or cup games? Don't want to be a doom merchant but a shit run now would be catastrophic

I've just watched it, and it looks to me that the defender has gone through Doyle - who had a tap in
Referees can after the game report managers, there should be a way of managers reporting referees.

It won't change the result but it will highlight errors by referees, which this season there have been an inordinate amount of errors by officials.

Todays ref was up there with the worst I have seen, seemed very anti Swindon.

I expect the Cheltenham game to be similar. The rest we will be fine.

Caught the tail end of it. Someone said beardy had someone in a head lock. People were arsey. I just wanted to get through  Smiley

Also feel their player should have walked for that ‘tackle’ on Anderson first half.

"
Where a player commits an offence against an opponent within their own penalty area which denies an opponent an obvious goal-scoring opportunity and the referee awards a penalty kick, the offending player is cautioned if the offence was an attempt to play the ball; in all other circumstances (e.g. holding, pulling, pushing, no possibility to play the ball etc.) the offending player must be sent off"

It wasn’t an attempt to play the ball, he just went through Doyle to stop him getting the ball so a red for me.

Big plus today was Anderson. By no means perfect, but we are a classier side with him playing no. 10.

subjective. And with that ref it was going to be a yellow.

Another thing, the referee didn't know the handball rule either. Gave one against Grant that flicked up off his foot and I'm not sure it even touched his hand, but even if it did shouldn't have been given...
