Late call to come down for this one, second game of the season after Exeter. Availability somewhat better than that game but hopefully the atmosphere is as good and the result is similar

The BBC are forecasting 40mph winds between 10.00 and 12.00 then back down to 19mph by kick off time...must be the tail end of a storm passing through or something...

The fishy boys are clearly buzzing and full of confidence and I'm sure they'll have a right go - On the other hand, we are the best team in the League - not said in an arrogant way, just - FACT! So...

3-1 Doyle, Yates, Doughty

Edit: Just to be clear - I do NOT think it will be easy  Wink

Driving back down from Glasgow today.  Going to take the more easterly A1 route to try & get a bit of BBC Radio Lincs (?) match commentary this afternoon.

I drove down through the night after dropping two crates off at RR in Paisley. Clung onto the steering wheel with grim determination until I got to Preston. Just got in. Going for a few hours shut eye before the game.

Loads of confidence on the Grimsby forum.

Only 14 predicting a Swindon win even though we are top of the table and without a home defeat since September on a run of 8 wins and 2 draws scoring 20 goals and conceding just 5 in the games.

16 Grims predict a draw, but a large 23 predict a Grimsby win.

Theres optimism for you.

If you have the ifollow app and pay the £4.99 a month just play the commentary through that and have it through the bluetooth in your car Wink

That’s what beating Morecambe and Stevenage does for you!

I’m waiting for my 150/1 5-2 to come in!

The last "lower" placed team with such confidence about playing us was Cambridge. A 4-0 defeat later they weren't so confident!

I love over confidence in teams when they come to Swindon.

Any team that underestimate us do so at their own peril.
