My wussiness has got us 6 points this season! Couldn’t bear to log on to the game this evening.

Maybe I should steer clear of iFollow - period!
You and Wellens should both keep well away from Tuesday nighters, for sure  Wink

But I thought our recent rise in attendance was down to a "post Brexit boost"?  Soapy Tit Wank

I don't want to take all the credit but, 2 away games this season = 2 wins; 1st Tuesday away game for 10 years = 2nd Town win in 5 years. If anyone wants to buy me a Mansfield ticket, please feel free   Smiley

Great support from Town fans. I've never seen a steward ejected before! Jerry Yates changed the game, but you probably already know that.

Great win.

Shame that Plymouth and Crewe (again!) got late winners but if we keep getting the points then it doesn't matter,  enough others will drop away.

At present rate we will end up with 88 points which will be more than enough for an auto place.

On a side note I feel a bit sorry for Danny Rose, he’s gone from being captain against Plymouth to not even being able to get in the squad now.

Interesting that you mention it. I cannot shake the feeling we have a Fergie MK11

Danny Rose's STFC career trajectory has been a strange one. He's a perfectly good player and RW recently said that he considers him to be one of the leaders of the team along with the likes of Baudry, Grant, Caddis and  Doughty.

And yet he's gone from not even being on the bench to Captain, back to not being on the bench. It's an unusual situation. You would think he would always be on the bench at the very least, if fit.

It’s all been said - good night’s work, an ejected steward to boot and more than your fair share of gobby locals. Good team performance. I was expecting a lot more from Northampton, but then, had Benda not made two good saves to stop Marshall and the late header, it would be a different discussion.

What are people’s views on REG? To me, he’s often too tentative and passive - he let’s the ball drop when he shouldn’t, and he plays like he lacks confidence. I’m conscious he is 19, and probably way ahead of his peers, but at centre back, it’s not easy been thrown into L2 when you’re used to the ball on the ground.

I thought REG was getting stuck in quite a lot last night, the main thing I've noticed is his eagerness to smash the ball upfield where we might see Baudry get it down and play a pass.
