That’s 17 points in 2020 from a possible 27 where we’ve played the rest of the top 6, that’s a decent return!
but...but...but....we never beat anyone in the top 10...or something....

Annoying that Colchester prevented us getting the clean sweep of victories against the top teams to shove that back down peoples throats! Oh and for a one man team we got all those points with only the solitary goal from Doyle!

That's certainly a massive win....

Potentially a season defining win. Like Lincoln that year when RC-C "dropped" backwards. This time those saves by Benda tonight. Could be what we look back at, seasons end and say that was the night we knew we'd do it.

Away "deteriorating" record halted ☑
No win on a Tues night, answered ☑
Top of the league after Christmas ☑
Unable to beat Top 6 side rebuffed☑

I want a Crewe win.

I'd love for us to go up as champions, but taking an automatic promotion spot is by far more important.

I'd prefer a draw but if one has to win, I'd rather it be Crewe. I think we've got enough to grind our way to the title. It feel like all the others are throwing everything at it. Yet we seem to be grinding victories/getting results (when it matters) on only about 2nd gear.

When this side is fully fit and firing on all cylinders. We're already a top 8 L1 side, in ability. I think that's what worries others in this league. No matter what they try, they can't break us.

We all know Town can play better but why waste extra energy going to gear 3/4/5 etc when 2nd gear is "just" enough.

Top of the fucking league!

Still a lot of work to do.... for sure had we not won then things wouldn't be looking so good. Since the start 2020 we've only had 2 game v sides in the lower half, Newport and Carlisle. We now need to make sure no complacency thinking we can beat the higher ranked outfits now so the lower ranked will be easy... they won't

The next five games are All very, very winnable and it is in our own hands to do this. 5/5 will at the very least cement a play off place. But as I have been saying since early season we are going up automatically.

No Plymouth. Despite the bookies paying out he was nowhere near it.

He did, he threw a punch at one of our fans after we scored. Had about 50 Swindon fans gunning for him.

I'm sure from the professional and management pov they will make sure that doesn't happen.

From a fans pov, it is nice just to enjoy it and put away a few myths and skeletons that have been lingering.

Onto Scunny, Grims & Manfield away. I'll envisage two wins and potentially dropping points away at Stags. Always tricky there. But 6pts from 3 games would be continued automatic form. 1.91 pts per game as it stands puts us on track for near 88pts.

Go on Reg, crack out the Pernod & Black for the ladies 😉Pint

I love wins like that and ending up sprawled in the seats when we scored.

That stage of the season where games are decided on paper, for the fans anyway.
Easy part of the season is over. The difficult bit starts now.
One game at a time.
