I too find Pete annoying and a bit of an idiot, comes across as a class clown. Other than that its a very decent listen.

Interestingly I find Luke far more irritating as he takes himself more seriously than the format (and has a habit of saying 'if I could just finish my point' when he dominates most of the discussion). Do like the Ramble though, not least because they had a whole bit on how shit Gillingham was and challenging people to disagree (almost nobody did).
I was going to say likewise, Luke just talks over the top of everyone and whilst he often has a decent point to make its just irritating, he is also pretty sketchy on lower league stuff despite being a Portsmouth supporter, but horses for courses I suppose...

Football
I need to drop one of Extra/Totally/Ramble. Luke irks me more than Pete, Luke has gone full blown TalkSport in recent years.
Saw Ramble Live about 4/5 years ago and they put way more effort into the show than the Richardson Guardian era live event did.
Quickly Kevin is great but there was a definite dip in the last series.
Set-Piece Menu is really good and I've enjoyed Adam Hurrey's Football Cliches pod for The Athletic.
Interview
I pick and choose based on the guest with Marc Maron and Conan O'Brien but Adam Buxton and Richard Herring are the best UK equivalents.
History
Pick and choose with Dan Snow's History Hit. I really like James Holland and Al Murray's WW2 pod 'We Have Ways'.
I like Greg Jenner's 'You're Dead to Me' and Russell Kane's 'Evil Genius' but my word doesnt Kane ever like to remind us that he's from the estate!?

If you like heavier music, The Downbeat is an excellent listen. Fella called Craig Reynolds, Reading-born drummer for many fine bands.
Distraction Pieces is a good listen too, many really good guests on there.
The Horne Section podcast has had me in stitches, thoroughly recommend that one.
Blood on the tracks, music podcast with Colin Murray.
Smershpod, Bond-focused podcast is really good as well.

+1 for The Downbeat. Craig rubs people up the wrong way sometimes but it's a good listen. Also for heavy / alternative music, the Sappenin podcast with Sean Smith formerly of the Blackout. A really good (and EXTREMELY Welsh) listen. Their podcast with ex Lostprophets guitarist was a really good listen - particularly when they went quite in depth on Ian Watkins.

An old one but still great for anyone who hasn't listened to it. Serial: The Case of Adnan Sayeed. Think they have made a film/documentary about it since. The Podcast is great though, delivered by an investigative journalist who looked into the case.

Last year the BBC World Service did a podcast series called 13 Minutes to the Moon, a minute-by-minute disection of the decent to the lunar surface by the Apollo 11 crew to mark the 50th anniversary, it was a fascinating listen, really enjoyed it, definitely check it out if you haven't.
This year, they're going through Apollo 13 mission, episode one dropped yesterday. Get on it!

90s Football Podcast Quickly Kevin (with Josh Widdicombe et al) this week has Ivo Graham on talking about Swindon in the 90s and specifically the That's Football documentary from 1992. Right up my niche, and I suspect a lot of people on here's too.

I love the QK podcast the Ivo Graham ones analysing the Steve Bruce books are superb as well. Ivo is on our (Ex) London Reds watsapp group and is a great guy very passionate about STFC.
