Hi everyone,

I'm not sure if this is the right thread for this, but I'll put it in here anyway.

I am in the process of writing up my university dissertation at UWE Bristol and doing it on "ARE FOOTBALL CLUBS ARE PERCEIVED AS ‘BRANDS/BUSINESSES’ AND HOW THEIR FANS ARE CAPTIVE CUSTOMERS AND ARE THEY PSYCHOLOGICALLY EXPLOITED?" and comparing Swindon Town FC to Liverpool FC.

I have created a short questionnaire that will take no longer than a couple of minutes to complete.

If the kind members of the Town End forum could spare a couple of minutes of their time to help me and my research out - that would be really grateful.

Done. You might want to work on making the title of your dissertation a little snappier.  Wink

Done. Agree with RF about the title  - "Fans. Are they clubs' bitches?". You can have that as a freebie, no, don't worry about thanking me

I've been changing the title for the past few months now, originally it was going to be how TV broadcasting deals have commercialized English football. Any suggestions are welcomed  Too Cool

Thanks in advance

Done. I did notice an error but immediately forgot what it was. I’ll ask a colleague to fill out tomorrow and try to spot what it was

Does TV sports subscriptions deter you away from going to watch Swindon 'live'?

done.

you might have asked 'Do you have other involvement with the club, other than attending matches?' (e.g. Member of Supporters' Club, involved with STFC Community Foundation, STFC Trust etc etc)  Just gives an idea of the commitment of supporters to the club, with extra involvement suggesting that it is more than a commercial enterprise.  Just a thought.
