It seems to me there is far too much football being discussed on this forum.
I recommend the second animal World Cup is due an outing. Having hosted the last one. I have decided to pass it on to someone else.

Can anyone out fuck the honey badger???

Tarantula Hawk
Neither a tarantula nor a hawk, this giant flying insect is actually a wasp that hunts spiders. If that last phrase didn't terrify you, consider this: the tarantula hawk is one of two insects to score a 4 the "Schmidt sting pain index," developed by entomologist Justin Schmidt to measure the severity of bug bites on a scale of 1 to 4. Here's what a biologist told Wired about some advice he'd read on how to treat a sting. "Their recommendation—and this was actually in a peer-reviewed journal—was to just lie down and start screaming, because few if any people could maintain verbal and physical coordination after getting stung by one of these things. You're likely to just run off and hurt yourself. So just lie down and start yelling."

The Honey Badger didn’t even win the last one did he?

He’s still the people’s champion, 10(?) years later

Let's face it, you have to be pretty hard to have skull emblazoned on your back!

- Star of Silence of the Lambs

- Tormentor of King George III, turning him mad by flying into his bedroom

- The moth enters bee hives to steal honey, risking being stung to death

- It's the only species of moth that can squeak like a mouse by pushing air through it's tongue.

- It's fucking huge, in fact the largest moth in Europe.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you the Death's-head Hawk-moth

The Hippopotamus.

Huge, unpredictable, aggressive, they kill more people each year in sub-Saharan Africa than any of the big cats.

They have size, strength and the temperament to back it up.

Also, unrelated to this contest, there's this footage of a hippo doing a massive shart and using its tail to fan it around.
Enjoy!

I don't have the time.

But if somebody volunteers then I'll set up a new board and give them admin access to that board.
