Huge win today, partly coming from behind, partly for putting Vale down as a one-off blip. And hopefully shuts up the "But we haven't beaten anyone in the top 10" brigade. But we do need to keep this squad together. And fit.

Just popping in to say Happy New Year.  Superb win today especially with changes due to injuries, falling behind and losing on Sunday.  Excellent team performance.  Key few weeks coming up in terms of loans, but as it stands, We are Swindon, We're Top of the League!

A very nice afternoon out. The kid who ran out on to the pitch provided some additional and unexpected entertainment. Will be interested to watch the highlights as I couldn't work out how Woolery managed to help Plymouth thwart a scoring opportunity.

Just back and eaten my shepherds pie tea.  Twas a good game, two sides going for it although we just about edged it, should have scored a least two more, why the fuck didn't Woolery shoot when he was right through in the centre of the pen area.  Funniest thing today was a little kid running onto the pitch near then giving it large to the Town fans!!  Three stewards to catch him and hand him over to the police.  Explain that one to Mummy!

If he kept running into the goal net instead of trying to head it down he would have scored.

It was McGilp not Haines.

As for the match we are just very good in an attacking sense, no other team creates as many good chances as we do. The fact that we can effectively shield our defence through our domination of games in forward positions speaks volumes. Teams are very scared of us especially when we counter attack, Woolery came on as a sub today and their right back couldn’t get near him, must have been pretty demoralising for their lad.
Vale just seems like a blip now, a big chance to make a statement to league on Saturday that we are good even when Doyle doesn’t play. We will still create chances so hopefully Yates is able to step up to the Doyle role for the game.

Hopefully we didn't pick up any further injuries today - I take it Jaiyesimi came off with cramp and Yates was tactical? Woolery played well - if his final ball and decision making was better he'd be a Premier League player.

With regards to the little rotter who ran on the pitch; him and his dad cut in front of us in the queue to get into the spoons and someone else in the queue called him out on it and it got a bit heated and I remember someone saying “what kind of example are you setting your son?” - next thing we know he is running on the pitch!!

Just got back,  fucking cracking day,  would have settled for a point after 20 minutes,  was a little twitchy about this one, but once again the lads excelled themselves,  to  be fair we could and should have had a couple more but think we can forgive that in view of the result.  Doyle certainly seems to be giving the vibes that hes here to stay.  Bring on the Bradford,  keep this run going,  we'll be up by February !!.
