The nine match unbeaten run in the league is over and three players are out injured from today's game.

Hear Richie Wellens talk about the result and the ref here:

Think about our DIRE predicament. Should we pull ourselves together and go on another run the likes of the one just ended, then I predict promotion. Be mindful, other teams will have to gather a monumental head of fucking steam to keep pace with what looks like an all be it small pack pulling away.

People have said the challenge on Iandolo was fair, looking at this still it looks like a scissor challenge. Lucky not to get a red!

Wreckless and out of control I’d say, hardly surprising he has a significant injury looking at that.

Didn’t see the game yesterday but I really feel that we need both Grant and Lydon in midfield away from home. Then Doughty at 8. Keshi out wide or come on for Doughty.

All academic now as I assume Grant will have to play CB on NYD. Would prefer Rose comes in so we can push Doughty forward rather than DJ starting at 10.

Thought it eas a red live. You can't tackle like that these days. He was only saved by the fact it was the third minute.

Totally agree. Nasty tackle. Two footed and out of control. Looks like ref let a fair number go.
First goal is a shared error between Grant and Zakuani. Clearly Zakuani was drawn by the scorers run and failed to come back with him - he is simply too slow and Vale knew that. However, Grant should really cover for him and not let the runner come back. Can understand why he did as Fryers probably would have made it easily.

Yeah having seen the highlights, you don't normally see that massive hole around our 18 yard box

That's beyond a red. That's an assault.

If you freeze it both feet off the ground and lands straight on Iandolo’s ankle, absolute stonewall red and the cunt just had the cheek to like the video on Twitter!

Really?!?!

2 feet off the ground straight into his ankle?!? It’s the definition of a red!
