Smiley exciting stuff. We entertain Oldham this Saturday and I'm surprised to see our last 7 home games against them mirrors my attendance results  Sad

Played 7
Won 0
Drawn 4
Lost 3.

Surely that has to change this Saturday.
I'll go 3-1 (att: 6,611. 248 of them)

Headlines from Richie Wellens' pre-match press conference today:

- Dion Donahue signing not able to be registered until 2nd January, now confirmed.
- Keshi Anderson will return to the squad for Oldham game
- Player injured in training today, will mean the first XI will need to change for Oldham (albeit - pinch of salt - Richie loves a pre-match mind game!)

Sgt. Rock is the ref. He was in charge of our defeat to Newport.

Think he’s a twat.

‘Key player’ ‘Significant injury’ ‘playing very well’.

That’s just about everyone. Must be a bad one if he’s already about a January replacement.

Bit of a bogey side to us,   broke the Grimsby bogey last week,   let's break another one this week,   3-0 to the Town,  ( with or without injuries).

Down the years Oldham at the CG has been the good, the bad, and the ugly.

My first memory was a 6-3 win in Dec 66.... we went 1 down were 2-1 up at half time, and then 5-1 up before Oldham hit back to make it 5-3 then the Don completed his hat trick. 3 years later we rolled them 5-1 with Chris Jones scoring a hat trick. That was good.

Bad was losing to them in the last minute on the Prem CG debut... small crowd and any feelgood factor long gone.

Ugly.... anything recent.

So it's been terrible since 1969 then? We'll dick them on Saturday.

Hopefully not too serious. Fryers injury would be bad we’ve had a great record with him and Baudry together.

True but Zakuani could adequately fill in there if needed, or even Broadbent who looked way better in his last 2 appearances than previously this season.

Up front we have DJ and Isgrove to bring in on the wings if its Woolery, We could push Woolery up front if its Yates or Doyle injured.

Hunt and Caddis can fill in at either fullback position and Iandolo can fill in there if needed.

In midfield we have Rose who we can bring in, also Anderson if he is indeed fit again although we would need to change the shape of the team a little to accomodate any of these changes I think we have enough strength to cope with a single injury in this squad.

I reckon we have 3 ‘key’ players - Doyle, Yates and Grant. So it’s one of them. Anyone else we have adequate cover for.
