For me its this goal from the easily forgotten Royce Browlie against Barnet. (20 secs in). Absolutely brilliant strike.

Do you know I quickly read it as since 2000 Smiley still a great goal!

It was and one I remember very clearly.... in my time in the same way as with music, hearing something can conjure up a picture in the mind of where you were, who with at a particular time etc.  I also get it with goals and matches, sometimes it's a really good vibe sometimes less so but never less than interesting.

Shame Brownlie never kicked on, he looked a decent signing.

I remember him coming on trial a few years earlier in 2002-3 when he played on trial for Sheff Weds and he impressed but got injured then came to Town on trial and played really well against Sporting de Gijón and scored after about a minute but was then let go.

Had to check the year and glad i did because i was going to say Simon Cox vs Walsall, but that was in 09.
