Zakuani is the type of CB we need playing against the hoofing sides.

I still can’t see how we can offload Dave in Jan seeing as he can’t be match fit. IfGrant gets recalled we might need him. I don’t mind Wellens not seeing him as a starter but don’t understand why he has been frozen out.

Will signing Donohue eat into the Doyle/Grant fund?

I like the sound of that.

Just had a look at the Gas forum and they cannot wait to see the back of Bennett.

He was poor last night, tbf. If that’s any indication to his general performances I’m not surprised they want rid.

Bit of a Doyle-esque situation. Certainly shows Wellens in a good light when he can get a tune out of players stagnating elsewhere.

Parson and Twine both looked eager and ran around a lot but both are too lightweight and lacking a final ball.
Tbf, Parsons is a 1st year scholar I think, so still only 16/17, he's always going to look a little slighter than the 1st team squad players, esp up against established L1 players. Wellens seemed pleased with him judging by his comments in the Adver

Dunno, sounds more like Wellens on the wind-up tbh, having some not so sly digs at Coughlan

We have quite a few stagnant players on our own books though!
