Prices are set between the two clubs aren't they? Don't think the FA have any say, other than that certain proportion of capacity has to be available to away team, and they get a cut.

You're kind of correct and apologies as I thought the FA set the prices (or used to) but it's the home side that set the prices and can only charge away fans the same as their own which is a minimum of £10 with the home team reaping 55% of the gate receipts to 45% away team. The problem is it's within both clubs interest to get the maximum they can so the fans will always end up being the losers
