At home Bradford have won 3, drawn 2 and lost 1 scoring 8 and conceding 3 goals.

They have beaten Carlisle, Northampton and Oldham at home, drawn with Cambridge and lost to FGR.

Swindon have one loss on their travels in the last 10 games, back to March. A run of WDDDL-WDDWW.

We have started this season with 3 wins and 2 draws on our travels, scoring 9 and conceding 4 goals.

Bradfords Valley Parade has never been a ground Town have historically done well at with just 3 wins ever there in 19 meetings, the last win coming in 2014 when an Obika brace won the match for us.

There have been some notable players who have served both clubs, Chris kamara, The late greats of 1969 Peter Downsborough & Stan Harland, Bronco Layne, Nicky Summerbee & Jimmy Quinn to mention a few.

Currently Bradford have Jake Reeves (long term injured) as the only player with a link to Town whereas Town have Eoin Doyle(obviously) and Town coach Tommy Wright with links to them.

2-1 defeat with Yates scoring in front of 14,550 with 575 Swindon fans there.

Nope he was talking about not dropping LMc for one poor game (Col U) and he spoke about Bendas fitness levels.

This is what he said after Colchester

Wellens said: “Steven (Benda) has been doing well, but Luke (McCormick) has been doing fine too.

“Admittedly, Luke didn’t play great on Tuesday.

“But because he has had one bad game out of nine doesn’t mean I’m going to take him out.

“Luke will be given another opportunity to try and get back to his best on Saturday.”

The above means on-loan stopper Steven Benda, who joined the club on transfer deadline day from Swansea City, will again be on the bench for this weekend’s trip to Cambridgeshire.

Benda, 20, is yet to make an appearance in the Football League since joining Swansea from 1860 Munich two years ago.

To date, goalkeeping coach Steve Mildenhall has delivered positive feedback about the young shot stopper.

Admittedly, though, the youngster understands he is at SN1 to fight for a first-team spot – something that will be no easy task.

Wellens added: “Steven is well aware of the situation. He knows he has got to come in and fight for a place.“

Didn’t mention him being unfit.

He did on the radio, he said when he joined he was just getting close to fitness after a long injury at the end of last season. He stated that before the Orient game too, saying that playing 90 mins in behind closed doors matches and he was just getting to a point he wanted him to be at.

It definately wasn't Sidy who he hasn't mentioned regarding fitness at all.

We're away from home, I'm confident  Smiley
Workmate is a Bantams fan, I think he'll be there. Looking at a 2-1 away win. att: 13,112 (665 away)
Is Doyle ok to play?

I see Bradford have had 23 yellows and 2 reds in 11 matches  Smiley

Ask your workmate about names, it's my understanding that Bradford applies to Park Avenue not City.  Interesting club Park Avenue, still going strong in non league football. I recall Town's last visit there on Boxing Day 62, it was on the day of the last great snowfall of the 20th Century, players only just got back to Swindon in one piece.

Sexy programme from the match....

Just saw something interesting here:

https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/swindon-town-man-reveals-transfer-plans/

Most notably this paragraph:
"With striker Eoin Doyle also out injured currently for the side, Hunt explained that Swindon will be fine for options up front, seemingly earmarking Kaiyne Woolery to play up front or out on the wing as Swindon look to stick with their preferred formation of 4-4-2."
