Truth is we don't really know yet.

The last few performances have been a bit ragged. Undoubtedly. we've had injuries mind, and a key absentee today.

it's too early to proclaim this is us settling into a normal grove, just like it was too early to proclaim us auto certainties after the first 10 (not that anyone did really).

we'll know by Christmas, and it's not too late to push on from mid table to playoffs even then.

I hope to goodness it's a blip and we are in the auto mix. we all do. this League is gash

I will safely guess we will not be in the autos, we may get into the play offs.

Wellens said he wanted to be in touch after 15 games and then push on. We're probably about where he suspected,

Just got back after a stop over en route and haven't read back.

First half was a bad game ruined by an inept ref.

Isgrove played like he was wearing those black plimsolls from Primary School.

I love the bloke but I think he should of been replaced early doors. Him standing on the ball summed up our game.

Second was better but only a little.

Both goals conceded by overplaying on the edge of own area..

How did Yates miss? How!?

Ref was a total prick and I hasten to add for both sides...how did the Bradford lad get booked at the end?

Should of been a draw...it wasn't...

I think it was just a freak bounce. He headed it down as he should have done but it somehow had the spin to bounce back up over the crossbar. There's some very fine margins in physics.

I just think he sort of flinched at the last second as the defender missed it and he's ended heading right down into the ground. One of the best home records up against one of the best away, something had to give but it was almost a draw.

We'll still be up there when it matters.

An imposing stadium. Their fans must wonder why they are knocking around in L1 & L2, but that's their problem.

Not outplayed yesterday. Should probably still have got a point despite not playing great, particularly in the first half.
The Yates header and the Woolery one looked like a good chance as well.

Zakuani did ok without really being tested.
Isgrove has been relatively quiet for a few games now, maybe just a result of being stuck out on the wing more since Doyle & Yates have been playing?

After a run of fair to middling officials it was good to get stuck into some proper ref abuse again.
He was hopeless.

We have too many good players for this level to not be challenging for autos come the end of the season  IMO.

The trite observation is, of course, that merely having good players will not get you promoted- you also need to get results.

You missed out having Lady Luck on your side now and then.

2-1 defeat with Yates scoring in front of 14,550 with 575 Swindon fans there.
That was a pretty close guess TBH.

2-1 defeat with Yates scoring in front of 14,136 with 523 Town fans there.

Bradfrod were your average L2 side, not good but not shit, we probably deserved a draw on the 2nd half showing but not on the 1st.

The miss by Yates was pivotal.

Witht he injuries we have had I think we are still doing ok but I want us to get back to the basics again, pass and run, what we did so well for the first 6 or 7 games of the season.

We haven't clicked since Macclesfield, we can do it, we have shown that time and again but we need to get back to it. At times Bradford couldn't play us, we need Doyle back up front.

Zakuani looked fine, won a fair few headers, didnt commit too many fouls, wasn't sure of positioning at times and also didn't really pass the ball short and kept looking for the longer pass. He will bed in fine, for his first game since February he did well.
