I'll Tell Ya Now - McGurk Is The New Graham

But we all know we don't have a 20+ goal a season striker, or an experienced right back, and we're forced instead to rely on callow youths like Hunt and summer trialists like Isgrove Smiley

Ffs, stop it.  There's barely any fucking tea left in my mug!  Cheesy

I think Doyle will finish on 27, Yates on 23, Keshi on 9, Others 14. If Town score 3/4 more goals in the next 3 (at current, that's very achievable), they'll be on for 80-84 goals after 44 games. On the flip, Town are currently on to concede 44 goals after 44 games. So pretty much a 2:1 ratio. Town will lose the odd game or 6(six) for sure but tend to follow up with a bigger or more convincing win. Regardless of where they are come January, the movements and dealings will be key to ensuring Town's and our auto promotion success.

No, but it puts you a fair way towards it.

Of course it helps, and all well and good if you've goalscorers, but we know from past experience in a promotion campaign there will be times when you need goals from odd places when you need to scrape out a win.

The games in the times you're playing well look after themselves, but I can't think of a Town promotion campaign where we haven't need a few key goals from an unlikely source.

Sort of thing, Alan Mac in added on time at Cobblers, only scored 2 goals for Town, but that one was massive as it kick started a 9 game winning running on the back.  As yet we don't know if this side has that sort of thing in it over the course of a season, but it will hopefully be fun to see something develop.

I think it's what Wellens means when he talks of a fear of complacency... we might be good atm, but that can't be taken for granted, battles ahead.

Macclesfield saying four members of staff pictured out on the piss on Frirday "will be dealt with behind closed doors". Yikes! Sounds ominous, locked room and a baseball bat?

Could the Macc performance partly be down to this last night?

Yeah, it was widely discussed at the game on Saturday although then people were saying it was players not staff. But you've got to be a bit fucking stupid to go out on the piss in club kit.

I'm not sure a lock in is the way to go.

Were they definitely on the piss though, rather than just out? Still stupid either way.

If it's staff and not players, then what's the issue? Aslong as they perform their job the next day.

No-one been out on the piss the night before work before?

Yes and it's often left me unable to perform my job the next day Smiley Not exactly professional is it?

According to the Macc forum it was a couple of players too.
