We all have Reg moments.  When the Manager thread popped up, despite being the last one who revived it, I worried there was a comment in there somewhere that said I didn't think much of the appointment (because I do remember being underwhelmed at least!).  Thankfully I hadn't gone full Batch (sorry Batch, there is still time for you to be right, but  know you'd love to be wrong).

I've been told, at work, that I have a tendency to come across as though I think I am always right.  I replied "I am, I only offer an opinion or talk when I think I am right".

Fortunately for Reg, one of his soothsaying moments doesn't seem to have come to pass, and that was Wellens wouldn't have control and Power had taken it back (not, might, very certain it had happened).  On the whole though, we'd all love him on our quiz teams and none of us would be supporting Swindon if we liked success.

I wasn't worried so much about Wellens, more Hunt as cone carrier, which seemed to be Power. Wellens said he wanted an experienced number 2, it took a while, but he got Lifter, and now Wright so it put that to bed.
