Going to be a short thread this, but here goes.

I noticed on Saturday that a player called Hamilton actually plays for Hamilton Accies

Racked my aging brain to think of any others - to no avail.

Stephen Ireland played for Ireland.
Seem to remember a player named Hartley and a player named Poole both playing for hartlepool a few years ago.

This sounds like an ideal subject for a Danny Baker phone in. Justin Edinburgh (God rest his soul) never played for Edinburgh City...Mike England never played for England, what with being Welsh and all that... George Paris never played for PSG although I'm sure he wishes he had...not even Red Star... I realise I'm not being much help😣

A couple of years back, Braintree Town had strikers by the names of Marks & Sparkes....shit...wrong subject...🙄... never mind...

There's a team in Scotland called Keith and a team in Wales called Barry.  And of course let's not forget Arnold Town who are currently plying their trade in the Abacus Lightning Central Midland League...I know... totally missing the point...but that's what would have happened if it was a Danny Baker phone in...

I used to enjoy Wolfgang Wolf managing Wolfsburg. And Arsene obviously.

We had Charlie Comyn-Platt for a bit which was part of my dream niche suburb XI (We could have signed Wayne Shaw to join him and maybe claimed David Stroud too)
