Very windy in Berkshire this morning so assume Swindon is the same. Interesting to see if we adapt our game at all

"Have"? Is this like an antidote to the people who write "Should of", "Would of", "Could of"?😉

I never predict a score, mainly because I'm rubbish at it.  But I am confident.  Need to set the tone for a successful season at the County Ground today.

Slightly off topic, my Mrs goes mental at should’ve, would’ve etc. Have, have, it is HAVE, tin hat job in the house.

Given we played a lot on the ground last week, hopefully we can stay true to that even in the wind.

Play like we did last week and we win.

What's the weather like back home? It's 31c here and only 10.20am  Sad

It’s ok in London. 20 degrees, a few showers.

I’m off to visit family down in Kent. The plan was for a BBQ, but not sure if the windy conditions are going to put paid to that. Will be taking plenty of booze nonetheless.

Swindon win and Mayo beating Dublin in the GAA would make it a perfect day for me!

Yes playing on the deck today is going to be key. We have not really spanked anyone for a long long time, maybe today is not the day, however, I think it is only a matter of time.

An ugly but effective win in difficult conditions and hopefully a Town End that finds their voice. Let’s hope Richie warns Isgrove and Lyden to give Carroll a wide berth. Suspect the weather will put a fair few off but let’s hope within time we’re back to 7k+ and upwards from there. It makes such a difference.

And having a pop from distance when the wind is behind us. I have images of Fraser vs. Stevenage and boomerang goal kicks!

Early yellow for Carroll is probably a good bet. Isgrove is going to be key for us to unlock defences I reckon.

BBC now saying the wind should be down to 21mph in time for kick off. Let's hope that's correct.
