The ability to score from breaks like that is going to give the opposition some tactical headaches this season.

it's going to be very handy away from home.

will it work at home where teams defend a bit more? we'll see.

I hope to see us be more fluid in general build-up play. It was a bit scrappy today in that regard, but it was just 1st game of the season. There's a lot more gelling to come. I think we have the talent to unlock teams that are defending.

I think at home we’re going to have to score first or we are going to get very frustrated this season.

Patience is going to be a virtue this season I reckon.

We could see us go at it different at home, maybe 2 up top and set to control possession more, we certainly won't get the kind of space we were afforded for the two goals today.

A shit journey there but a great day in the end.

The block by Lyden in the first half. Outstanding.

Fantastic support throughout.

That was the kind of thing that turns players into legends.

That was the biggest fan appreciation moment apart from the goals.  Brilliant way to introduce himself.

Fucking ace way to start the season. Well in lads.

Just seen the goals and can't stop watching the first. Unbelievable touch by Isgrove and a great finish from Yates. League 2 defenders will be having kittens coming up against that kind of counter attacking football.

Also thought Fryers did brilliantly for the second by not just hoofing it anywhere.

Those goals are an utter joy to watch. And watch them I will.... again and again and again 😊...on another geeky/obsessive note....I don't think I've ever seen us play in red shirts/white shorts/white socks🤔

Was it Fryers that took the ball down in our box at the start of the 2nd goal? Lovely bit of play.

Two fantastic goals, straight out of the traps this season, love it.
