One of the more depressing Xmas fixtures of relatively recent years was losing 3-1 at bottom bound Shitty in 98.....Torpey scored a brace...at the time we had an alarming habit of conceding goals to players who just didn't score against other teams... well maybe Stockport.

 Still every cloud...as Shitty finished 24th and the scum 23rd we held on for another season...
