Plenty of times, especially having lived in the north for 7 years and counting, meaning I've mostly gone to away games in that time.

Hi All, has anyone ever attended a football match by themselves? Random question as a first post  Cheesy

I mostly watch Town on my own, especially away from home.

Yes a number of time over the 45 years of suffering. Home, away and other teams too.

Yep, did Southampton away on my own when Austin scored the winner, never been to a home game on my own (that I can remember)

I used to stand in the (so called) disabled persons enclosure by the Town End with my Dad for many years. Other than that I have hardly ever been to a match with anyone I knew over 40yrs  Sad Sad

Good to hear, I guess I've always associated matches as a tribal thing with other guys. Seems like getting older means I can watch a game and not need to hear an associate screaming cunt every 30 seconds.

Going off on a bit of a tangent... who doesn't mind going out for a pint alone?

I used to do it quite a bit when I was younger, it can make for a good evening.

I go to most games with my Dad now, but when i was younger and lived 150 miles from my parents i went to most games by myself; as others have said it didn't/doesn't bother me at all because there's always something to chat to someone about (if you want to).

I was staying in the Pemier Inn at Parc Trostre Llanelli regularly. I ended up watching a Uefa Cup pre knock out qualifying game at the Scarlett’s Ground one evening. I think it was Llanelli and Motherwell. I could have stayed in my hotel room and watched it live on SC4 for nothing....

I do, and at home. I quite like when my other half is away for the evening as it means I can get drunk on my own in my pants. The Finns even have a word for it - kalsarikänni
