These next 2 games are very dangerous for Wellens.... lose both and we're likely back into the bottom half, and with Whaddon Road to come, could easily finish below Chetnumb for the first time ever when in the same league.

That scenario would not be good.... another season of decline under Power, leaving less wriggle room to the Conference trapdoor.

These are difficult games at the best of times, but with the squad likely to be on the beach after Saturday, it will be a test of Wellens motivational powers.

A draw would be an impressive outcome, and keep Newport below us.

Late season 3 away game trots, reminds me of 78/79, when we ende up with visits to Griffin Park, Hillsborough and Bloomfield Road win the lot and we win the league...2 wins and a draw and it's autos. We win the first at Griffin Park, with probably 6000 travelling Town fans, on the Tuesday, then lose at Hillsborough on the Friday 2-1, which finishes it.  Sad

That game at Brentford is one of my best memories as a teenager following Swindon. He's here, he's there, he's every f------- where, Alan Mayes, Alan Mayes.

Come on Reg. As you've said before, one game at a time.

A better points / place finish than last season is still up for grabs.
Plus one of the better away seasons as well.

Windy Miller was the best player on the pitch that day, scored one of his quite rare Town goals that day too.

Interesting fact, fact fans.  Given Reg pointed out Newport's home form, their last 6 home games in the league have seen them win 3, draw 2 and lose 1.  That's worse than our home form over the same stretch.  I am pretty sure our away form is better than their home form for the same period of games as well.  It's a mathematical certainty that we will win!

In reality, tough game to call.  They will push for a win in their situation, we seem to do well against teams who do so when we play away.  I didn't think we'd beat any of Franchise, Bury or Tranmere but we beat the lot and played well.  I thought we'd beat Yeovil but we bottled it.  Who knows?  Probably 1-1 with hope gradually being snuffed out but still a small glimmer.

Where did you hear this?

Its been available for every other game this season in the league.

This suggests its not available tonight -

Exeter's game tonight is available FWIW.

The most annoying thing about that season was that in the soon to be introduced 3 points for a win, we'd have gone up automatically.

This surprises me, I thought every game was shown in midweek for UK watchers.

We would have thats true, we would have pipped the champions Shrewsbury on goal difference and they wouldn't have even been promoted!

Sometimes in midweek games you cannot buy a pass until ifollow is live which is about an hour prior to KO.

My friend is in France and could by a matchday pass. Seems its region locked tonight then (maybe lubs choice as in a post above?)

How odd. I'd imagine away following will be affected by the England Ladies more than ifollow.
