That Bennett might be a bit "hit n miss" but his goals to games ratio for us aint bad for a midfielder Wink
He is a bit more than hit n miss! 2 of his goals were "keeper assisted" but you can't score if you don't shoot...and he can shoot! hes had a good game today.

FT 4-0 solid workmanlike performance, never in any doubt at all.

Its the hope that kills you.

Much more decisive. Just trying to get it into the box quicker makes so much difference.

Exeter score a late winner with 10 men..

It was actually quite enjoyable to watch, we controlled the whole of the game and were getting a lot more shots and crosses in the box.

Morecambe tried to play football but were a very average side for L2.

Nobody played badly today we played as a team and at times the passing was great to watch. I have said all season I feel more confident with McCormick in goal and today was no exception.

Bennett had his best game for us and deserved a goal even if the keeper had teflon on his gloves.

If we play like that every week we can fear no one, get the consistancy and we could storm the league next season.

Bennett is a poor footballer but must have the luckiest right foot in the country.  Imagine if Anderson would shoot more often.

Very comfortable win that.

A couple of small targets for the rest of the season ticked off.... maintain unbeaten record v Morecambe, get into top half and get a positive GD.

Onto Bury now, something of a free hit....

You look at Woolery and Anderson and the goals they scored from outside the box vs FGR and MK respectively and it makes you wonder why the hell they don't shoot from outside the box more often, they obviously have that in their "locker" so why not utilise it more often?

Really enjoyed that. Another puzzling MOTM award though, should have been given to Conroy.

I think it was Bennetts best game for us but he wasn't our best player, not even close.

Thoroughly enjoyed that, never looked in any danger (although I did spend most of the 1st half going "We need a second or we'll get done by a sucker punch" just because we do) but they were poor. Enjoyed the cameo from Lord Voldermort towards the end but it seemed like it was Bennett who was using sorcery as their keeper seemed to not even notice he'd taken a shot until he woke up as the ball bounced past him!

Not a lot to add to what has been written so far.  2-0 at half time and always in control yet our keeper has made 2 quality saves to keep them out.  4-0 was a fair reflection of the dominance we had for the whole game.  Bennett named mom, but not for me, Conroy or Rose I thought should have been there.  So what do we think of our chances for next season?  A lot depends on recruitment, Conroy (I think) is out of contract so he is a must for a new one as is Knoyle.  Robinson?
