I could listen to Welllens talk all day. Knows his onions. Reckon he’d get a bit feisty after a few sherberts as well

2 will go out this week - trying to get Romanski a loan at a Conference club

Wants 1 more - a ‘wildcard’ wide player who can create something out of nothing

Yeah, its still tough. The games in hand others have are still a factor. Win next week at the FGR game becomes a big one.

This nice win today and New boys generally settled in and Wellens seems to spot issues and makes good changes

Other teams around have games in hand but a positive Saturday none the less

it is always one game at a time but if the play offs are such a stretch then my glass half full says we'll be entering them with momentum....and we know what that means.  COYR Pint

Totally agree, how we can't get behind the lads v Creepies and make a push for POs would be beyond me. Back in the PdC times the next home game would see us with around 9k att, scarves fully swirling and chants of "Ess Tee Eff Ceel ringing out!

Well, it kinda worked last week, in as much as we didn't lose. Tranmere away, they are in a fairly good position with good recent form. I'd definitely take a point.
And you've gone one better, credit where credit is due, Wellens has done OK but 4D is very much the hero of the hour here

In the space of 90 minutes we've gone from 7 points "off" to 4.
Forgive me if I don't think the play offs are beyond us.

Still a lot to do, but this win at least means that probably for the first time since the early few games we can start to look up.

Doughty very upset at being taken off and showed that to Wellens but he went missing in the 2nd half.

Not the way I saw it. yes he looked disappointed to go off but he shook the gaffer's hand and did so again at the final whistle. It was the right move and Doughty is smart enough to see that on reflection.

Not looking for another striker then?  Hmmm

Maybe he thinks House is what he needs. He's seen a lot more of him than we have. Richards also seems to have remembered where the goal is.

True enough. Just hope it doesn't end up costing us a top 7 finish. Two goals in each of the last 3 games shows signs of improvement though.

Shame Power didn't go with his gut and appoint Wellens in the summer. How did Broadbent get on?

Started off saying he wanted 2 then said that is probably being greedy, finished by saying he wants 1.

Praised Richards and spoke about gradually building him to full fitness
