2nd half:

poor in attack, couldn't string 2 passes together.

excellent in defence, restricted them to a few scrambles and one shot.

fair result

We shaded the first half they were a bit better 2nd half, we looked poor after Doughty did his best to fall out with every Town player and lost interest in the game.

The defence and Vigs were awesome, Taylors best defensive performance for me despite being targetted by Mansfield. Nelson was brilliant and gives everything.

We lacked a bit in attack again but despite them having a few chances we didn't actually look like conceding. Mansfield have one good player and defensively looked weak.

Very happy with a point up there and I hope Twatcroft is pissed off.

Altogether it's a point probably none of us thought we would get.

A handy point..... if we could string together a run of wins, then the recent 3 game Luke won't look so bad, in terms of looking upward..... OK we dropped a place to 14th, but it does keep the nice buffer to the drop zone, and gives Wellens something to build on.

Mansfield have one good player and defensively looked weak.

Strange then that they have the best defensive record in the EFL  Hmmm

Shitcroft surely fits the bill better?

Just got back. Good point that. Same thing we've said all season; we need a striker. Mansfield really offered nothing much and look like a team set up to draw. Logan is a decent old keeper, in the kind of Dave Lucas mold. No one else for them really stood out. Thought Elsnik would have kicked on and became a L1 standard player now but likely Flitcroft will overwork him (when injured) and ruin his career. If I was Derby I would send him somewhere else, where the management know how to rehabilitate a player properly.

Would've taken the point beforehand but it was frustrating that we didn't put our chances away. We looked like scoring 2 or 3 on top of the one off the bar.

The right people in (striker and LB) during the transfer window and we could have a cracking 2nd half of the season. We'll likely see those draws turn into a few wins, and potential losses into draws. We are tougher to beat, despite not looking like a finished product yet. Get those players in and play offs is easily attained.

My nose is still cold, momentarily warmed by a shit HT Bovril. Bring on the Exe.

I expect Dickcroft waxed lyrical about being the better side and how well his microwave is working these days.

Could have gone for Cockcroft.... Sir John of that name winning the Nobel Prize for Physics for his work with Ernest Walton on splitting the atom.  I guess that was a good thing to do...
