Doubtless, if they lose a few they'll be back to wanting him out.  Flitcroft is clearly a decent Div 4 manager, whether he could do well much above that level is moot. However any manager needs a bit of backing from the owner.

It's interesting that both Cooper and Flitcroft, have teams who are doing a much better than us atm.

Despite only one defeat this season the fans are hardly flocking to watch - still hovering around 4000.

Flitcroft is a detestable fuckwit, though.

General running of a club more important than a single man at the helm, I’d imagine.

From what I've seen so far, I'm far happier with Wellens. Hands down. No contest.

Look around almost every Football League club, fans aren't happy with something. We, the fans, are the worst  Bye

Bailing at the first opportunity is the sort of thing that will never sit well with me as a football fan. I know Town are a stepping stone or even sometimes just a monthly pay cheque but it still irks that Flitcroft got what he wanted from that short spell while Swindon Town very much did not.

No doubt some will still point the finger at the Power regime but old LP appeared to be the most pissed off when he was interviewed during the immediate aftermath (not hard considering that the fanbase was largely unmoved by it all).

It has left me with the standard tribal-ish desire for Wellens to damage his promotion push although 'I ain't got no quarrel' with Mansfield Smiley

At least Reg now concedes we are doing much better than those in the relegation worry zone, like Cheltenham.

That's pretty good for Mansfield.... given it wasn't that long ago that they were in the Conference, locked out of Field Mill, and looked to be going the way of a Stockport or Darlo, then fair play to their loyalists for sticking with it.

As to whether it is sustainable if Radford loses interest, I've no idea.

Numb, have never finished above us when in the same Div, we need to keep it that way, currently a 7 point buffer but they've a game in hand and we've got to go to Whaddon Road.

With Macc having revived of late, it's Yeovil, Cambridge,  Morecambe and Crawley who are feeling the heat.

We've got these 3 nasty looking games coming up, and could very much do with winning one, although 3 draws would make a Luke.  If we can't muster a win, then getting a first ever point at Moss Rose wouldn't be the worst outcome for a six pointer.

Who would have thunk it?

2 teams with bigger playing budgets (due to richer owners willing to put lots of money in that they can never recoup) than we do are doing better than us, in other news man invents wheel.
