At times a very temperamental person during his playing days at Swindon, but of a quality that doesn't come round often, took ages to get going for the Town but when he did he was unstoppable. He was lined up for a loan back to Vienna when he started to score and then he looked like scoring in every game.

Still has a very soft spot for Swindon too.

Nice find MG.

Yep Moncur has said Gorman was going to haul him off on the first game he scored in and he was going back to Vienna. Then he scored a minute later and the rest is history.

We can but wonder how that season might have turned out* if he'd fluked one in off his backside at Bramall Lane on the opening day of the season.

*OK, we'd probably have still gone down but we'll never know how different it might have been.
