I’m supposed to be going to a reunion of sorts tonight and really don’t know most if not all of those who are still going. A dear friend was going but feels the same as I do and having travelled two hours to get here suggested we go out for a meal instead which i’m Ok with. Thing is we have not booked anywhere. Can anyone recommend anywhere in the old town area we could go last minute?

We thought a curry house might be a good shout but i’ve not been out for a good ruby for a long time so that might be a starting point?

Went to the Moshan Grill in the week and had a very nice meal.
People were walking in as it wasn’t overly busy.

quite liked the one meal I had at the Thai place (Siam Thai), Old Town Thai also supposed to be good. no idea how busy they get on a Saturday.

Moshan was good when we went too, but that was 5 years ago now!

Went to the Jewel in the Crown last week. Great food. Problem is that most places are already booked for Xmas dos.

Thanks everyone. Found somewhere i’d Overlooked out in the sticks. Quick tinkle and they had a table we could squeeze in too.

I would imagine pissing next to a table would make people leave, freeing it up for you. ;-)
