Is the ground east or west? I've always thought that GMT would be better described as Grimsby Mean Time.

Today will be a tough game. We could come away with all 3 points or we might lose. I guess I’d be foolish not to consider the draw a possibility too.

How do you think we will get on today Reg?

Today will be a tough game.

We have a terrible record there so today is the day to change this.

3-2 to the Town COYR

Grimsby are very hit and miss but I’m confident we’ll have too much for them and come away with a 2 or 3-1 win

Looks like one of them wet 'n' windy days up norf.  Not going to be the day for high balls.
Would love a win but think I'd be happy with a point in a dreary 0-0 draw.

Grimsbys current form is been DWLLLWWDL and their home form this season so far is LDLLLWDWWW.

Against Grimsby we have only 4 wins in the past 13 games, in 22 games at Grimsby we have lost 14 and only won 4 times scoring 21 and conceding 38 times.

Since 1968 our record up on the coast has been LLLLLDLDLLLWLL with only the 1 win in 14 games and that came in 2003.

Their leading scorers are Wes Thomas, Charles Vernam and Elliot Embleton all on 4 goals each. Wes Thomas will no doubt score against us.

They currently sit 7 places below Town in 18th place with 8 less points than us.

They seem very confident on their fishy forum with 26 predicting a home win, 6 a draw and only 4 thinking we will win.

In the words of Reg, too many variables with weather, team selection etc to reliably call this, our record there is frankly terrible in the last 50 years with just the single win.

I genuinely don't know how this will pan out at all today.

2-1 defeat with Anderson scoring a crowd of 3,875 with 207 Town fans there.

Pre match taking of the medicinal waters in The Coliseum Picture Theatre.
There is a slight chill in the air and a refreshing breeze here today.

The Grimsby fish & chips wasn't very good last time.
25% fish / 80% batter.
Must have got the runt of the shoal.

A few of the locals are fur clad 6 footers with beards, tattoos and long braided hair, and that's just the women.

Today is one for Wellens to look into the eyes of each player to see who is up for it and sort any doubters out before they get out on the pitch.
A historic victory up for grabs today, but a point would be very good.

Why don't you knock it off with them negative waves? Why don't you dig how beautiful it is out here? Why don't you say something righteous and hopeful for a change?

I only hope you know what you're talking about.  Just placed a large bet based solely on your confident prediction.

They're not exactly Cheltenham but still something of a bogey team for us.  I'll be very pleased with a momentum-maintaining draw but I can't see it.
