Lets have another go at starting one of these.. After my last attempt ended in total failure, let's hope for something better today.  So, I'm going with a 2 - 1 win for the boys and a move up the table to within touching distance of the play offs.

Bye the way, the clock on this site is f****d!

Today is a massive indicator, could we really win and make a statement?  Got to be a chance, after all despite Newport being on the fringe of autos, they are realistically likely to lose FL soon, just because of problems with ground etc.

But that's for the future... right now we're playing a side better than us on paper, a draw would be acceptable.

Basically, he thinks we could win but might lose. Then again it might be a draw.

He seems to have completely failed to consider the match abandoned possibility.

I'm looking forward to a few pints, a good game and 3 points for Swindon.

3-1.

Probably not my finest hour on the prediction front.

It's the hope that gets you.

We will win  this if our best team is selected, more likely than under PB.

Would take anything out of this game,  going to be a hard one but one of those games we need to win just to close the three point gap just above us.

Assuming that everyone is fully fit, here's how I'd like to see us go today... frustrating that the team was mixed up for the visit of Woking, back to full strength today.

Vigouroux

Knoyle
Iandolo
Nelson
Woolfenden

Dunne/McCourt (I'm easy - very similar standard of DM)
Doughty
Alzate

Anderson
Twine
Adebayo

That seems to be our first XI currently Dan. I'd go with that too.

No idea on the result but at least expecting us to be competitive, which is a nice feeling.

Newport are such a strange case... everyone else in the top 6 has a GD of at least 13+. They’re 4th and theirs is -1.

Exeter, Stevenage and Carlisle are all in very patchy form and also have top 5 opponents. As per the Stevenage game, it’s an important chance to make up a chunk of the ground that we’re chasing.

I’ll go for a 2-1 win.

Can see a win here - no reason why not. They’ve shipped more goals than us so we should at least score.

The back 4 looks pretty settled now and Doughty sure improves things going forward. I’ll chance a 3-1 in front of 6445, of which 698 hairy arsed Taffs.

At last some news on Dave - out until the New Year. Still something not right there - just a feeling.
