shame we didn't play them earlier in the season really, I'm sure Brown would have been grateful if somebody had told him his strongest team

You know I'm going to have to verify that with Exiled Bob? If you'd read my previous reply on here, I mentioned it wasn't necessarily people on here "losing their shit" or behaving like children. The very fact you're getting a little angry about it only shows up one thing. You're usually more controlled than that Adje. We have only got to the 3rd Round 5 times in the last 20 attempts. Surely with all your years of watching the Town you should have known this was a 1:4 chance of happening again. Considering the last time came in 2012 (PdC; we beat Wigan in R3) now means it was a 1:8 chance. There's always next year. I am used to it.Lets call it the straw that broke this particular camel's back!😀

You can moan at the 'gammons', the 'key board warriors' and the 'fickle' all you want. When it starts to affect our hardcore standing it becomes a problem. And it is starting to.
Not sure moaning at people moaning is going to solve anything, much like the moaning itself won't.
To be fair, the biggest moaners I've seen so far (not on here so not aimed at you adje) are on social media.. The brigade that usually make the biggest song and dance about how they don't go any more. Well them and me, moaning about the moaners.

I'm not moaning at them Batch. I'm just pointing out how pathetic the behaviour is of some. Some who should be old enough to control themselves. The perspective being that our own lives/choices etc have far more impact on us than the Town making the 3rd Rnd of the F.A Cup. End of the day, although it is part of our life all we're doing is paying for an entertainment service. Not many will like that but in essence it has no direct impact on our lives. We shake it off and carry on.
Well at least you didn't say it's just 22 men kicking a ball about. (or should that be persons). The ghost of Bill Shankly is watching on and doesn't approve.

It did feel like my ear got clipped at 5.48pm (or would that be 5.55pm) I think I'd have SEEN the ghost of Bill Shankly if I'd have said "It's only a game." On second thoughts, it must've been Brian Clough that clipped me ear!

Shame really, as Watford were our most played opponent up until relatively recently, but like many others have left us well behind...
The cup game of 92 was a goody....
The league game away in 92 was a thing of beauty.

The Bobby Howe game was one of my first away trips as soon as I passed my driving test.
That must be one of the last times we played them

Presumably the Chalkie hat-trick... We had our first encounter with Watford in the Cup in 1896, they were then an early incarnation.. Watford Rovers. We won 1-0 We haven't played them since 99. I touched on it last season, how traditional opponents from the old Southern League and Div 3 S etc, such as Bormuff, QPR, the pair of Bristols, Reading, B and HA, Watford, etc have all left us behind.... leaving Exeter and Cobblers as the most played opponents in Div 4. Rovers mind, might join us again next year if things stay as they are atm.

As I said if things stay as they are... we're safely mid table, Rovers in the drop zone 4 points adrift.

Honestly some of the reaction is way OTT. I saw one dude on twitter just now who literally the other day was like "Great football, what a night" after Stevenage and has now posted "IM NEVER GOING AGAIN SHOWER OF SHIT".
Is Reg on Twitter now....

Missing out on a PL club at home just adds to the annoyance. I'm guessing that the last 10k plus home attendance would have been the P/O game v Sheffield Utd? Although selective memory might have erased a dismal failure v Headington after that.
