That was as bad a 45 minutes as I've seen at the CG for quite a while. Adebayo should be fucked off back to Fulham, he just isn't good enough.
Think Wellens should've learned a lot from today, at least I hope he does...

Why is it being suggested that Power want non-league football? What would he get out of that? As for Wellans. Got to give him a chance,he only met the players a couple days ago.

Agreed. That's definitely my way of looking at things.

We need a whole new team.

I wouldn't go that far, but there are new faces needed.

My worry is Wellens has probably identified that Taylor isn't much cop at left back with nobody in front of him, but if he thinks sticking him in the middle is an option then he's in for more shocks than today.  When Taylor joined us last season it was clear he couldn't do that job at all well.

It's also a bit odd that he went for McGlashan over Knoyle.

He's got to work out a formation he wants us to play and fit the best eleven he can into that, then wait until January to sort out the positions that will not be adequately filled.  Brown clearly didn't have much of a plan, or he shot his load on Dave and Doughty and lost the plot, because he's left a team all over the shop.  He spent half a season trying to work out how to put a team together, and failed by and large.  Wellens has to almost ignore the players he has, pick a formation, stick with it and don't change much.  We probably have to watch games with our hands over our eyes until the transfer window.

I thought McGlashan did OK today, although Knoyle might have done better. There was a lot of promise from the overlaps with him and Wolfie.

And then it all just turned to shite.

This was my view too. Knoyle is a far better player and more suited to that position.

Firstly... I think Wellens gets this as a free shot, although we do have more of an answer to some of the imponderables which made it difficult to get a feel for today.

But one thing is clear we need to dust down the

Of the imponderables.... firstly the injuries seem genuine, those that had them down as tactical look to be wrong. Secondly, the players look to have reacted badly to Wellens/Hunt..... hardly surprising after what he said about approach, which is completely at odds with the requirements of a relegation battle.  Thirdly, Sheridan would know this and so just set up for a basic Div 4 style, to be competent and that should be enough. Fourthly...the whole week seems to have fucked the players heads.

Notts v Numb, a draw would have been handy, but Notts are now well in the shit.

Certainly this would be the most damaging performance for a new manager in our history...

A bit harsh I thought on first reading - "I hope he dies...."Huh??   Give the guy a fucking chance I thought, or at least just sack him.

And then I re-read! Sad Cheesy Cheesy Sad Cool

I need new reading glasses, clearly!!!!

But my eyesight was good enough today to see that McGlashan is shit - truly shit, Adebayo needs to go back to Fulham ASAP given his inability to control a ball, head a ball, pass a ball, tackle or shoot (though he is good a falling over) and as for "Captain Fantastic Anderson", he can fuck off anywhere so long as it isn't in a Swindon shirt....

As I posted earlier, Jermaine's work off the ball is very good, he gets positions, it just falls down, like him when it comes to the kicking the ball bit. That's Div 4 for you.

An embarrassing result for us, no question. This is about as low as I remember us being. Thanks Lee Power. What ever you are doing just isn't working.

What’s our heaviest ever home defeat at this level?
