Just tried to do a friend a favour and migrated his HP laptop to an SSD. I put the SSD in and the computer gets to the windows (login?) screen with the time, wifi and battery on it. When I press enter it goes to please wait and then comes back to this screen.

I tried booting to safe mode and debug, when on SSD, and it said Your PC needs to be repaired – Error code: 0xc0000225.

The problem is, I thought ok, it failed and I put the normal HDD back in, this has exactly the same problem and I'm not sitting my pants and I don't know my arse form my elbow.

I've tried to go into safe mode on the HDD and it says repairing computer or some shit and spends ages seeming to do nothing.

Am I fucked?!
