Next Saturday is arguably our biggest match since the Leicester play off in 93...I just hope Brown manages to get the importance through to the players.

Our approach play was good through most of the game, but finishing was atrocious, several sitters were missed.  "If"  they'd been scored, perhaps we'd reflect on quite a good display.  I would anyway.

I bet bamboo is a lovely fella, but I always imagine him to be that bloke you try and avoid in the street because once he starts talking you can’t get rid of him.

I bet that Quagmire is a lovely fella, but I always imagine him to be that bloke that's always itching to get home for a wank because with a name like Quagmire, he just can't help himself.  Soapy Tit Wank

How long have you been following STFC Bam Bam?

All my life 4D. Do I have to follow a negative rhetoric or please may I have my own opinion?  Pint

Just trying to gauge where your expectation levels are likely to be based on experience. If you have only followed the town for the last 18 years then I could understand  Smiley

We're through & that's what matters but there were some poor individual performances. McGlashan, aside from the assist for the goal (which may have been his first of the season) was poor. His crossing is largely very hit & hope & if he didn't have that extra yard of pace then Conference North/South would probably be his level.
Adebayo is incredibly weak for a big lad. Gets knocked off the ball far too easily & just doesn't possess the natural instinct that is going to get you 15-20 goals a season. Twine on the other hand impressed me. Took his goal well & could have had another one at least. His goal would be enough to keep him in the X1 for me. He deserves a run on the account that Richards & Adebayo haven't been coming up with the goods lately.

Decent finishes from Twine and Alzate, but Jesus, that one from Anderson is a masterpiece of how not to play football! How can you practice football every day and do that?

Is that Twine's first goal for us?

I thought it was adequate. We’re not doing well so I can’t expect us to look like world beaters regardless of opposition.

Town could have easily lost that but they remained calm throughout. Have to take those chances though.
