not much more known than the title

BREAKING: The Leicester City helicopter just crashed in the club car park...no other news

Looks like it's the owners and has gone down in the car park Sad

Pics on Twitter don't give me hope of a good ending. Hope nobody on the ground was hit

Apparently definitely the owner's helicopter, not confirmed he was on board, but it's not like he will have decided to hitch back to wherever is it? Doesn't look good

That's not actually a contradiction in terms. I'll allow it...

Weird that there seems to be almost a media ban on whats actually happened with any victims, no official confirmation has come out yet other than one elderly Leicester fan that died at the scene.

Not good.

Just heard on the radio that five had died including the chairman and his daughter. Sympathies to all involved, certainly puts football on the back burner when something like this happens. Gather he donated a million pounds to Leicester hospital recently when it was in financial trouble.  Seems like he was a hero locally. RIP.

Terrible.  By all accounts they were/are a great family and invested in Leicester, not just Leicester City.

Why do people use helicopters?  They are a deathtrap.

I've turned down helicopter rides all over the world. Not a chance of me getting in one. I'd rather be shot out of a cannon.

I can imagine that being shot out of a cannon might be a tad riskier. Probably a lot of fun, though.

I'd fancy my chances of a safe landing more. Helicopters are scary

Confirmed that the Leicester club owner was among the victims, along with two his staff members, the pilot and the co-pilot/passenger.  Sad

Brings back memories of when Town nearly had a similar tragedy.

I don't think anyone died on the ground and the guys daughter wasn't even in the helicopter. the misinformation which was circulating rather explains why nothing official was released until some time after!
