They seem to have something going with Juventus, let's hope they don't play like them.

2-0 town. They leak goals and we score for fun  Smiley

2.1 defeat, Brown finally scrapes off his blue suit and runs up to Power wearing only his tan brogues
pleading for one more chance Bye

One of my favourites to bring up in the pub when it seems relevant.

Can't see us scoring more than one, or conseding less than one. Going for an optomistic 1-1 draw.

sorry about the spelling./

Bob Vieri, father of Christian.
An Australian connection, same as today's opponents.
So that's it, an omen, 4-0 to us. Job done.

And European giants shouldn't be languishing in the 4th tier of English football.

Appears we might get a passing reference on football focus today, when did that last happen.

Can't see anything other than a defeat.

We can't score

We cannot defend and he will continue playing Lancashire, Taylor and Richards.

If we don't win then this has to be Brown's last game. I have no confidence in the guy.

Hope i'm wrong and we do win.

Ssshhhhh.  Leave it to me to start next week's match day thread.

I have a wisteria growing neighbour and would like to pay him a visit at midnight next Friday night.  Before whipping back home to start the matchday thread at 12.07 am.  Something like "Town to bludgeon Us".

TEF will be my perfect alibi.

I honestly can't see where our goals will be coming from, confidence seems low on the pitch and with the fans too.

They are pretty shit, we, at the moment, are marginally shitter.

They have won their last 2 home league games but lost their last 2 games both away conceding 6 and scoring once in the process.

If Brown does not win one of the next 3 games then his job has to be on the line, County are 3rd bottom with only 3 league wins all season and have conceded 32 goals from their 14 games so far easily far and away the worst defence in the top 5 divisions (we have conceded 20 from 15).

If we can't score against them then we are really in for a long hard season.

0-3 defeat in front of 5,355 with 385 Town fans there, Town with just 1 shot on target.

I blame any potential defeat on 4D for starting the 2nd matchday thread before midnight Wink

Pre match conference in The Company Inn.

Well remember the end of term game here in 2014.
90th minute skirmish that saw 4 yellows and 2 reds dished out, both for us of course.
Spotted in the away following that day, a young teen busy with a colouring book and a group who were only "ere for the 'ooters".
Always advisable to have an alternative activity lined up when just the football isn't going to be enough.

Nottingham is a fine drinking city.
Ideal for prattin abaht in one of the many fooo-kin booza's.
Get to learn a whole new language as well.

Anything other than more of the same would be a surprise today.
PB and the team need to conjure up another Yeovil type performance from somewhere.
We are unbeaten against Harry Kewell this season.

Nottingham was originally called Snottingham, don't know if it is still the case but it used to be one of the few places in Britain which had more women in the population than men.

I hope you at least get an I was there moment, when we score a goal.

Yes, named after an Anglo Saxon chieftain called Snot apparently.
He probably had to work hard to gain some respect.

I guess the male / female ratio depends on the 50 or 60,000 student population.

Could be a tale of two 35+ strikers today if both start.
