An interview with Steve McMahon would probably be interesting

Or how about an interview with Diamandis

I tried McMahon. Not sure if the request ever made it his way.

On a more realistic level perhaps people like Devlin or Fitton might have something interesting to say?

Agreed. Really interesting to listen to him and his thought processes. Another top listen!

Many thanks - We are being spoiled by so many awesome podcasts.

Thanks folks.

I'm just happy that I've managed to stay 3 weeks ahead on ex-player episodes so there's been no rushing around.

Next Three

Callum Kennedy
Nestor Lorenzo
Ty Belford

Callum was great... I look forward to going through that again in the edit.

Nestor was lovely, really quick turnaround but I fear people might struggle with the broken English.

Still got him on though!

Ty was a lovely chap too.

I'm interested in those 3 for different reasons:
CK - I thought he was quite good and was disappointed when he left
NL - Its Nestor Lorenzo!!
TB - Was around during interesting times. Wonder whether there is anything about the speedway too?

Just listened to this. In my opinion the best one yet. Mooney is highly articulate, insightful and honest. Holding his hands up for the play off defeat against Brighton and his memories of Andy King are particularly interesting. Sounds very much like he was let down by the club rather than the other way round, which caused him to leave. The Mooney/Parkin partnership was one of the most exciting in recent times and such a shame it didn't end with promotion.

Or even to have one more season in which they both stayed fit and scored reqularly.

What might have been, eh. One of many moments over the years.

Not listened to the Mooney podcast yet.
Considering the time period I have no doubt the club let him down, so can forgive him for leaving...
....absolutely no excuse for dropping down a division to join them lot.

He explains and is very honest about why..  and he openly admits it was a mistake, but there was no way he was coming back after being shafted by our lot.  He wished he would have chosen Wycombe instead.
