Just out of interest, Rich, on the Soundcloud site there is a photo of Swindon fans. Do you know which game this was at? I only ask because I'm sure my son is in the photo, just about, at the bottom left. As we only go to games at Christmas these days it must be one of those....

Yep. I use it mainly because I’m in that crowd shot too.

It’s Bristol Rovers 1-0 Swindon Town (2017)

Billy Bodin with the only goal.

Was there a daily morning meeting at the Daily Mail to try and find a story which blamed something on immigrants?

Not The Loathed Strangers but the Quickly Kevin; will he score? podcast has John Moncur on as latest episode and is definitely worth a listen.

Yeah, the Swindon bit was better than I thought it would be.

Ok....thanks. It's not him then, if it was at Bristol Rovers, as we didn't go to that game. The resemblance is uncanny though....I showed it to him and my wife and both were certain it was him too.

Mildly surprising that there is another Town fan wandering around, about the same age as my son (who has a twin sister already) and who is the splitting image of him....

There is a Daily Mail question along these lines.

Be worth including Sterling's explicitly calling them out as helping to create a racist climate. Is his colleague Anthony Joseph ashamed of his work (as it is his article that Sterling highlighted on Instagram)?

Just listened to that marathon while, ahem, working. Some good reminders of half-forgotten people and episodes. I thought the most interesting bit was near the end when he was discussing Power's possible exit strategy, and what that might involve. I wonder if that's drawing closer, once the training ground and associated properties are completed. And does Morfuni then take over?

Rich, I just noticed that music is by Matthew Kilford, is that the Swindon born Matthew Kilford, if it is then he was in my sisters class at Gorse Hill School and his brother Richard (a professional singer) was in my class.

That’s the theory I’m going with currently!

Last episode of the year should be recorded on Tuesday evening with Simon Ferry.

If you haven’t asked a question and would like to, just send me a message... or reply to this... or whatever!

Cheers,
Rich
