Not sure what your point is.

The reaction was overwhelming negative at the time & probably still is now.
I think it was an absolute debacle we worn white at Wembley instead of red.

I mean using the players as the reason as opposed to saying it was money/sponsor related.

Great listen. He sounds like a decent fella that was really harshly treated by King (I get there are 2 sides to every story so difficult just to take what he says at face value).

That's now Mcareavy (sp) and Cobian that have spoken negatively about King, whereas I have also heard many positives about him. Marmite manager I guess.

I loved his measured response to the question you posed that he had lived in cities such as Buenos Aires, Sheffield and Aberdeen and what was it like when you moved to Swindon. 'ummmmm....'

Cheers, Bob's!

Off-mic, a few of his teammates have said that Juan was professional throughout.

Prime years of his career seemingly wasted but he was settled in Swindon and just had a baby... perhaps he didn't want to roll the dice?

I was just getting to the nitty-gritty when the conversation had to end which was a shame.

Loved several of these, the Moreshead one, Chris Tanner (he did not sound at all like I expected him to), David Byrne, and Super Sammy Parkin of course. I know there were sound difficulties for the Simon Ferry one but you could have recorded it in Abbey Road and I still wouldn't have had a clue what he was saying.

Thanks, Michael.

December will be mostly returning guests (then back to ol' ex-player hustle for January)

Matt Heywood is returning for the Christmas episode.

Si Ferry could/should be on again before the year is out for a Q&A (I've asked him to return because the sound was so bad). Need to message him.

Sam Morshead has agreed to do another episode too (that will probably be a Q&A too).

Listened to Rhys Evans & Rafa De Vita tonight.

Can’t believe you didn’t ask Rhys Evans if he remembers being coached by fatbury!!!

Never met De Vita.

Interesting story about Di Canio & the Wikipedia print outs.
Did wonder (...and I’ve not researched yet) whether De Vita’s career total of 4 promotions is any sort of record for someone whose played for the Town.

Ferry and Morshead are coming back to do their own Q&A’s.

If anyone has a question or two, please DM me (some already have with Ferry).

I get quite decent listening figures for a niche podcast but we seem to be a shy bunch when it comes to questions!

Thanks in advance (and mild desperation)

Gave some Ferry ones (will provide more if needed?). I'll send you a couple of ones for Morshead if you'd like?

To Sam - what’s your favourite take away/fast food joint in Swindon.
